*aggressively points finger* OBJECTION! from @whyus
winston payne had learned the painful lesson that he should not be underestimated. the prosecutor had been too arrogant when thomas had dropped a surprise witness, which had provided an alibi for his client (whether they were being truthful or not, well...). the prosecutor had been too unprepared to rebut him and so... the verdict of innocent had been pronounced. the halls of the courthouse were quiet until a sudden shouting. he looked up from his papers to see miles edgeworth yelling at him from the other side of the hallway. today, thomas simply looks unimpressed with the other’s antics. what a peculiar country. he decides to approach him, finding it rude to conduct a conversation from the other end of the hallway. “the trial is already over, mr. edgeworth.”
Unprompted Asks -Always Accepting!! @whyus
Wait... What is this? Confusion crosses on their visage, taking the package gently from John’s hand and examining it slowly. Furrowing their eyebrows, they turn their head towards the man. ❝... Is this a new kind of weapon?❞
@whyus for Damon!
She’s simply sitting on her own sofa with notebook in hand, skimming through elder notes she wrote way back as a child on different supernatural beings. There’s still a frustration to never knowing nor being told what Damon was, knowing he’s standing just outside the home possibly as agitated as she is. Comedic setting to this however was the fact she purposefully left the door unlocked despite being home on her own, Adam out on his own long hunt out of state.
“I know you’re here; can’t you just leave me alone?”
@whyus
perhaps its rather luck that she was already in a suit when she got on this ship, the orange a bit vibrant like some of the others. she doesn’t know any of these crew mates, and they had been rather worried by her sudden presence, but some convincing that she was some sort of space law enforcement and a small display of her ability gained her some trust here.
Which is why she’s now roaming at a safe distance behind black - lucas, right? that was his name? Trying her best to help them with these task and investigation.
“So, how long have you all been in this ship? it doesn’t seem like very long. “
@whyus gets a starter - blaine!
“Look, I’m gonna be honest here. I have an inkling of what this is going to do, or should do, but it’s not like I’ve got zombie lab rats to test it out on.” Was that even a thing? It didn’t seem like a thing. God, she hoped that wasn’t a thing. “I can’t guarantee anything about what it will or won’t do to someone with your ... condition.” What did they even call themselves, was there a politically correct term? Since they were still in the closet, it didn’t seem likely, but it was anybody’s guess. “I can tell you that someone with a heartbeat smokes or bakes this, they’re going to regret it. For about ... three or four minutes before their brain basically ... melts out of their ears.” Vivid, but accurate imagery. “If you’ve got people willing to test this, that’s gotta be made clear. Side effects could be super not good.” In theory, the herb should create a high, similar or maybe more potent than a good strain of weed would give a human. A living, breathing human. But it was just a theory.
I have to get back to a comment on this right now I am LIVID!
Sal and I have a short problem.
While standing at a whopping 5’2”, I’m pretty sure we’re the shortest of both of our friend groups : )
