16/07/17, my 1st skincare diary entry 🌹✨I have just opened this blog so I can make it into an online diary/scrapbook for my skincare updates and to collect skincare knowledge from others. I like to post things that I am doing to anti-age + take care of my skin.
I ran 3km this morning and went to the gym to do butt exercises. Exercise pushes the lymph around the body to detoxify your skin + pumps blood to your skin, giving you that glow. I do intermittent fasting so I break my fast with banana ice-cream (frozen bananas blended up; they are high in potassium which is amazing for your skin) with cherries🍒 (contains anti-oxidants and vitamin E). I top it with camu camu powder (extremely high in vitamin C (x60 more than an 🍊; boosts collagen production!!)) anti-oxidant rich green powder 🍃and chia seeds for omega 3s. Today I also had a nutrient rich arugula salad with chopped papaya, apple and lime. I make sure to hydrate my body with plenty of fluids; today I made an organic tea infused with echinacea, burdock, dandelion, elderberry, hawthorn and added in fresh flowers + 🍓 to detoxify. I shared some with my best friends and they said it tasted beautiful. Throughout the day I snack on strawberries (vitamin C), grapes (contains anti-aging resveratrol) and cherries. For dinner, I had sweet potatoes and a variety of vegetables (not pictured as I was with friends).
I received some natural phytoceramide supplements today! (They are known as the “face lift in a jar supplement” but we both know that’s a rumour). They do however lock in moisture into your skin and promote the production of collagen. I also picked up some organic black cumin seed oil (yes Bb, cold-pressed) to apply on my eyelashes for growth. Rn I am researching about asthaxanthin supplements as they have a great reputation for being anti-aging.
