First of all, thank you so much! I've had a massive surge of followers in the last day or two, and it's been overwhelming in the most humbling and exciting way. So welcome to the family and my cozy corner of the internet! I'm glad to have you here.

Sublimation is hands down, without a doubt, my favorite fic I've ever written of Higuruma, so I'm beyond thrilled that it resonated with you! It was a labor of love, and a fun opportunity for me to explore his relationship with himself, his worth, desire, choice, intimacy (physical and emotional), and just get into his head a little bit.

My confidence in writing him has skyrocketed, and so has my passion.

Thank you so much again! I will absolutely be writing more Higuruma in the near future, you can count on it.

I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT WIBS

Are they a gummy because they like sweets?

Did they have any family or relationships before the circus?

What trauma are they overcoming in their focus episode?

Lolol they're gummy because I thought it would be funny if a character who ate everything was made of food. Plus a lot of the doctors I've worked with absolutely love candy and snack in between traumatic cases.

2. I imagine that Wibs was one of those people who focused so hard on their career they kind of forgot to do anything else. Like start a family or be with friends.

3. Wibs is in a perpetual state of psychological shock because they worked in an extremely high stress life/death environment for most of their adulthood. If you've watched The Pitt, then you know. The first time their colleagues convinced them to take a break and go spelunking, they entered the circus. Part of them is relieved and enjoying their whimsical "vacation" to the utmost. The other part is contending with massive amounts of guilt for abandoning their patients. Over the years (and lots of talks with Kinger), they've decided to make the best of it and take advantage of the benefits of living in the circus. I think a focus episode would look like everyone else being in some critical emergency and Wibs locking in to get them out of it, which assures them that they're still capable of helping people.
