spoilers for all of wicdiv!
wanted to sketch some of the cast a couple years post-44. left to right is zahid, aruna, and jon. i headcanon that those three would’ve been the first to be freed (other than aruna who i think it was implied never went to jail), because zahid and jon were both out of the game when the conspiracy-to-hide-a-murder went down. so in my head, these three got close while they were campaigning to get out the others.
other headcanons are that jon’s inventing abilities are still there, but they’d been augmented by his powers as a god. so he can still make incredible things but it might take longer. that, plus the idea that now that they’re not rich superstars might mean they have a smaller budget, makes me think he didn’t make aruna a whole new body right off the bat. so they talked about her priorities and he made a little anti-grav “roomba” for her head to fly around on, accompanied by two hands she can control that fly along with her. lets her draw, play instruments, write, etc.
and then i think jon himself might’ve gotten really into working out or physical activities. he spent so long without a body, i think getting it back, a possible reaction would be really diving into everything he could do with it.
not sure if zahid is using they/them pronouns by this point. it encourages me to think it took them awhile to come to that conclusion, bc a lot of us don’t know exactly who we are and how, or if, to label ourselves for a long time, well into adulthood. but i couldn’t resist putting the nonbinary colors in their outfit.
