I open my eyes. Slowly. To look into the blurry face of a man who is leaning over me. I blink and give a soft moan.
“Are you alright?” he asks. His voice is husky and full of concern.
I shake my head. A bad idea as a pang of blinding pain explodes inside my skull. I gasp for air, squinching my eyes shut again. Shit, what is going on? Why am I lying on the ground, my head hurting with the most vicious of headaches? And who is that guy?

Seduction is a dangerous game, but one I have no choice but to play.
I’m the daughter of an Archangel too.

Kindle Star Review
Title: Wicked Wings(Seraphim Academy #1)
Author: Elizabeth Briggs
Pages:308
Rating:⭐⭐⭐(3/5)
Synopsis: They think I’m half angel and half human. They think I have no magic. They think because I grew up in the human world I’m clueless about what to expect at Seraphim Academy. They’re wrong. I’m not half human, I’m half demon — and this little succubus has come to play. My brother vanished from Seraphim Academy without a trace, and I’ll do whatever it takes to find him, including infiltrating the school myself. Even if it means going up against my brother’s best friends, who know something about his disappearance and aren’t talking. They may be angel royalty, but if they think they can intimidate me into leaving the school, they’re wrong. There’s also the problem of the delicious professor who knows my secret. He’s hiding something too, and I’m going to find out what it is. But I’ll have to be careful, because if anyone finds out I’m part demon? I won’t just get kicked out of Seraphim Academy — I’ll be dead.
First And Last Sentence: Here
The second restaurant photographed for my doco project - Smoque, Canberra. These guys opened up a couple of years ago in 2012 and have been voted one of Canberra's favourite places to eat since. Tapping into the Americana trend spreading through Canberra at the moment, the food is prepared in true Southern USA style! A bottle of BBQ sauce is placed on each table to accompany the array of slow-cooked meats, burgers, chicken wings and ribs. What I find so refreshing about this place is its movement away from the fancy dining culture that has established itself in Canberra. Despite its popularity, this place is surprisingly unpretentious (even if it does appeal to hipsters). You order at the counter, help yourselves to cutlery, water, and my favourite part of all - a roll of paper towels. That's right - A roll. No dainty napkins or serviettes here! You're encouraged to eat most of the food with your hands, and peel off as many sheets of absorbent paper as you need throughout the meal. And believe me… if you're doing it right you will need a few... This time round I ordered the Woodstock Salad and Buffalo Hot Wings, both of which were super tasty and filling, as always! The staff were also very kind to let me photograph the place. Most busy restaurants probably wouldn't allow it.
I have a really unhealthy obsession with wicked wings.
Like, I'm constantly craving them.
Literally, I wake up and want wings. Then it's all I want all day!
But I don't go out and buy them, because I buy too many already and I'm sort of broke. :(
I want wicked wings now..
