so im sure others have this tendency too (at least i hope so, so i dont sound insane), but i kind of already locate characters i like before i start going through an anime because im a google fiend and i dont care about spoilers. whether it’s superficial like looks or standard character tropes (because i definitely have character types...). but then once i start and i hear their voice im like oh wait they’re so familiar and i check their voice actor, and it’s always someone who voices other characters that i LOVE if not like very much and my heart just cant handle sometimes. plus their characters turn out to be lovable anyway so
