Writing meme, 1, 9, and 10

1. What are some writing tics that persist in yourwork but that you dislike? 

I know I have go to phrases that pop up all over the place that I’m trying to get away from, and I tend to use 50 words where I could probably get away with 10.

9. Are there any unintentional trends in yourwriting? 

I tend to turn a lot of things into fairy tale retellings, but that’s rarely unintentional. Same with a lot of my common themes that recur, but again, strong sibling relationships, platonic friendships, taking romantic tropes in unexpected directions, I tend to do those on purpose.

10.  Have you ever intentionally written a characteras OOC to fit with a kink/prompt/story idea?

Not intentionally. I try to avoid OOC writing now that I’m older and wiser about such things than I was in my misguided youth.
