you're absolutely beautiful and i hope you find peace with how you look! i definitely wish i had more of my mother's features too. but i keep telling myself that i'm a unique mix with good traits from each parent?? does help much, but oh well hahah.

Oh, thank you. I really don't dislike my looks at all--it was more a momentary "oh hell, I'm never going to look as good as that" than a moment of self-hatred really. That's a nice way of putting it though! Oh! But my little sister has a friend over, and when i showed the friend the picture of my mum, she gasped and said I looked just like her! It was gratifying, not just because everyone always tells me that I look like my dad, but because not many white people can see any resemblance between me and my mum, or even with my sisters! But yay for having unique traits from attractive parents??? You look really incredible, so obviously it worked out well for you!

i've deactivated mine so many times in the past but i opted for permanent deletion this time around--hopefully i'll be able to last the two weeks it takes for that to go through, so then i won't have a choice. we'll suffer together!
