Darlington's most important festival is the winter wassail- held annually at the orchard on the edge of Sullivan forest. Horse sales, masquerades, and cider tributes to the fae are given. Little do they know that the creatures they fear often join in the fun...
Winter postcard from Jan/Feb! I included some more in depth information on the backs of these about my worldbuild's festival. It is important to note that though they appear real-world New English on the surface, they have their own fantasy cultural elements to the wassail. For example, their fall and winter animal symbol is the horse.
