Witwe

Stumm bleibt er, als er tiefer und tiefer in die Fluten sinkt. Er hatte sie einst selbst angelegt, die Ketten, die ihn nun fesseln und bleischwer nach unten ziehen. Stück für Stück hatte er sie sich angelegt, während die Witwe ihm zusah, doch sie tat es ihm nicht gleich. Wo sie jetzt nur sein mag? Sie wird nicht untergehen, denn sie hatte keine Ketten anelegt. Wenn er doch nur wüsste, warum sie ihn über Bord gestoßen hatte. Jetzt ist sie wieder eine Witwe und die Blasen aus seiner Lunge formen ein Lachen.

Behold a lovely Widow who still loves her husband. I guess till death do us part is a thing she ignored in the vows. That or he was a really wonderful guy.

Though if you knew the Victorian era their love of death and beyond oh boy....it was a lot and cool and interesting. Fun fact after the first day of morning woman would wear purple....That would explain my color pallet right?
