"Much appreciated," Johanne nodded as she gently rubbed her wrists. She was going to put a salve on it later as her skin still felt raw from the restraints. "Are the others well?" She had been on a mission with a few other people to help secure an alliance for the Inquisition by acting as bodyguards for a few days. It turned out to be a trick and the Reaver was worried that the Inquisition wouldn't be able to save the others in time.

"Remind me to stop taking bodyguard jobs. They've become a hassle."

Headcanons About my Muse's Style // Accepting

Around Skyhold, she wears a lot of white and off white. On the field, she prefers darker colors, usually brown, because it doesn't show the dirt as much.

I'll also mention dark green because it's the color of a cloak that she wears often during the winter. She invested in it pretty early on in the game because the areas of the Free Marches where her clan roams have a much more temperate climate than Haven and Skyhold do. It's a nice cloak, trimmed in fur, and she added some embroidery in a traditional dalish pattern around the hood and near where its pockets are for additional decoration.

"I know I said that I wanted ta help ya with trainin'..." Jackson shifted slightly from her hold, trying his best to get the woman's attention as he spoke. "– But this was not what I had in mind."

The rogue thought that he'd been approached for help in her training so she could better herself against enemies with a similar weapon set as him. He thought it would have been a great way for him to equally train when he had to go against fighters like Yasha in the field.

"How long is this goin' ta be for? It's gettin' close ta dinner time and I'd like not ta miss the first servings."

Jackson has never busked during Halloween while in costume, mostly because he wasn’t sure if he was going to be bombarded with requests had he done so. This year was different though as he plucked his violin and sang to passersby.

“Goodbye... To all the plans that we made—  No contracts... I'm free to do as I may...” It was a little tricky for him to transcribe from a lute to a violin since he hasn’t done it often. The same went with singing in a minor key as well, but he made both work.   “No hunger— No sleep except to dream... Mild and warm— Safe from all harm... Caaalm—”

The rogue was surprised at the hold on him, a squawk tumbled past until he felt the press of the other’s lip onto his forehead. He himself gave his affections to friends freely, but not often are they reciprocated the same way, save for a few. Jackson stared at Molly for a moment, the gesture finally settling and his mind caught up to the moment as he smiled. 

“Hey now, I don’t look that sad, do I?” 

He would be lying if he said he wasn’t feeling the pressure from the Advisors and Inquisitor relying on him for this particular trade route to go well. The kiss from his friend was much appreciated for calming him down.

It was a little disappointing to see that the mission they were sent off to do what essentially a wild goose chase in The Hinterlands, where bears were a-plenty and became their chasing partners.
