Aly laid awake on her bed in the tour bus with her phone in her hand. She knew Aliya should be calling any moment. As if on queue her phone started to buzz and light up. She quickly stepped outside and walked far enough away before answering the phone.
"Hey babe," Aly said breathlessly.
Aliya smiled through the other end of the phone, "Privet moya lyubov' how was your day?"
"Boring without you," Aly said drawing circles in the dirt with her feet.
"Awe baby," Aliya said in a sing song voice.
Aly's heart fluttered at the sound. Her breath was lost for a second as she listened to the steady breathing on the other end, "I can't stop thinking about you."
Aliya smiled weakly, "Me either....teammates say I am thinking to much about you. They say you are just a fling."
"I sure hope I'm not a fling...you do have my heart after all," Aly said softly.
Aliya's eyes brimmed with tears as she answered, "And you have mine...when will we see each other again?"
Aly exhaled slowly before answering the younger girl in a whisper, "Soon sweetheart...I have to go now it's getting late," Aly said with sadness dripping in her voice.
"Ok good night Aly cat," Aliya said as she too began to lay down.
"Good night Aliya...I love you."
"I love you too."

Maria watched as Mckayla walked across the Olympic village. As soon as her mind was off of the American she shows up at the place she goes to forget about her. Mckayla sat down beside the Russian on the bench. The familiar silence hung heavy in the air as both girls looked everywhere but each other.
"So uh what brought you here?" Mckayla asked breaking the silence.
"I needed to clear my head," Maria said looking at the ground.
"Have you been thinking about the..." Mckayla trailed off her sentence.
"The kiss?" Maria asked bluntly.
"Yeah," Mckayla said softly as she blushed bright pink. "I still don't know why I did that. I mean I am trying to walk away but this stupid crush ain't going away and every time I look at you I catch a breath a-" Mckayla was cut off by a pair of soft lips against her.
Maria pulled away looking into Mckayla's bright green eyes. "I keep trying to run away from the truth but I honestly can't think about anything besides you. I don't know if I'm crazy or falling in love but I do know this is more than just a another crush."
"Do you ever think when you're all alone...all that we can be?" Mckayla asked shyly.
"Da...I think we could be the best couple ever," Maria said as she leaned in for another kiss.
"Damn straight..."

Mckayla walked down the school hallway to her next class. She stopped to use the bathroom before going to class. She ruffled her hair and looked in the full length mirror. She took her phone out a snapped a few pictures adding a filter the ones she liked best. She opened her messaging app and selected the name at the top of the list.

Aly stared off into space as the teacher went on with his lecture. She thought of Mckayla and thought of the many things they could be doing together. She was brought out of her dazed state by the teacher who was clearing his throat. She opened her notebook and started the assigned work. Her thoughts wandered away to Mckayla and she self consciously started doodling their names in a heart. All of a sudden she felt her phone vibrate. She carefully took her phone out making sure no one was watching and read the new text. A smile crept upon her face as she typed a quick reply.

Mckayla watched her wife and their three year old daughter play in the dying sunlight. She laughed as Jordyn walked on her knees chasing the giggling toddler around the yard. Her light brown pig tails bounced as she ran towards her mommy trying to get away from her mama.
"Mommy!" Squealed the little girl as she ran into Mckayla's opened arms.
"Oh no! She's gonna get us Ash!" Mckayla said as she jogged away from Jordyn with the toddler still in her arms. Jordyn grinned widely as she got up and caught her wife by her waist and spun her around. Mckayla and Ashley erupted into fits of giggles as Jordyn started tickling their sides. After long minutes of torture Jordyn finally seized her tickling and both girls struggled to catch their breaths.
"I win!" Jordyn teased the little girl.
"Nuh uh! Mommy! Tell mama I winned," Ashley said tugging on Mckayla's leg.
Mckayla smiled at her wife and looked down at her pouting daughter. "I think Ash is right mama," Mckayla said grinning.
Ashley's face lit up as she ran over to Jordyn and waited to be picked up. Jordyn beamed down at her daughter and lifted her up by her tiny waist.
"Mama I think she has you wrapped you around her finger," Mckayla said as Jordyn placed the smiling girl on her shoulders.
"I can't help it you and her are the center of my world," Jordyn said as she intertwined their fingers. Mckayla blushed bright pink at the sincerity in her wife's voice.
"What does that mean mama?" Ashley said as she laid her sleepy head on top of Jordyn's.
"It means mama loves her two angels," Jordyn said as she brought her and Mckayla's hands up to her lips.
"And mommy loves her angels too," Mckayla said looking lovingly at the pair.
"Ashley loves her angels three," Ashley said before drifting off into sleep.

Ksenia rolled her eyes as Tatiana and Aliya continued singing Radiohead at the top of their lungs. It was half past ten o clock and these girls had yet to stop singing. They had already yelled "kiss my ass" to Valentina and the music had been blaring since the sun went down.
"What the heck are you drinking?" Ksenia asked as Aliya fell off the top of the table where she had been dancing.
"Uh I don't really know," Tatiana said taking another swig out of the bottle.
"Ugh when are you two going to grow up?" Ksenia said picking up her book.
"Apparently you don't know us... we don't give a fuck," Aliya said waving a middle finger in the air. Ksenia groaned as she exited the door and mumbled a few curses at the girls.
"Here's to never growing up!" Tatiana cheered as she and Aliya clanked their glasses together. The girls sealed the moment in a heated kiss and started to sing the next song.
