I gave myself bangs (to conceal lace hairline and difficult-to-bleach knots) and the struggle is already underway. 😡

They are so. Difficult. To. Style!

I bought rollers, but that just makes them way too poofy. I resorted to combing them into shape while damp in front of a fan (I don’t have a blow dryer). Still very time-consuming.

And they irritate my eyebrow area! I’m constantly having to scratch.

Their one saving grace and my one hope is that they will conceal the lace hairline. I just need to calm down because they’re already stressing me out. 😰

Update: they’re not unbearable when I can style them correctly (in roller or with hairdryer + comb). I immediately push them back into a headband when I get home, and I wear a toque if I have to go outside in wind.

You should always have a good hat when you leave the house, in case you need it!

Guess I start looking for a new wig place since rpgh*ir keeps sending me balding lace-fronts! 😡

Anywhere I part it, the lace is too obvious because the lace is goshdarn BALD.

I received a new wig from China (because of their relatively low prices compared to salon human hair wigs in Canada, which easily go into the thousands).

I’m super bummed because the hair at the front is too thin! It’s so ridiculously thin that the lace line shows no matter where I part it.

It was a discounted clearance wig, so they probably knew it was defective in some way. I’m not paying to send it all the way back there (and wait a month for a refund). 😭 The hair on my old wig is becoming unmanageable no matter how I condition it, so I’m absolutely desperate for new hair. 🙁

I’m just going to wear headbands and hats with this balding hairline wig until I can afford my regular wig again, and I’ll make sure to ask them not to pluck the hairline.

Me, after wearing my first ever cosplay to my first two cons: Long wigs are so terrible! Ugh, I hate them! I'm never wearing a long wig again!
