Nurse me
Drabble Time | Accepting
Leave a “Nurse Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about my character healing yours.
she requested with worry on her face. While Sona had never attended to a Vastayan before, at the very least his anatomy was similar enough to a human’s that she knew how to help. A nasty cut on his arm needed to be sewn up after being properly cleaned. Though getting him to sit still for the process proved quite harrowing. She didn’t want to accidentally make it worse.
When Sona first came to Demacia, she was expected to serve in the military in some capacity. Service didn’t always have to mean going to the front lines; and given her disability, there weren’t many positions she could take. She was appointed as an apprentice nurse, patching wounds and learning first aid techniques. Though she never saw anything especially gruesome (thankfully), it did take some time to get used to seeing cut flesh and blood and gore.
If she was honest she still wasn’t used to it. It made her stomach sink just to think about it. But when someone is relying on her and she’s able to help, Sona can at least push aside those discomforts temporarily.
With a final pull on the writhing Rakan, Sona clipped the string and inspected her work. she pleaded.
When she was satisfied with the dressing on his arm, Sona reached over and handed him a small, wrapped chocolate. Just as she promised if he’d just calm down.
