To me, being a witch is:

Making rose salt on my bedroom floor at ten o’clock

Rewriting my grimoires index nine million times because I’m an indecisive perfectionist

Buying way to many things that I want but don’t actually need

Cleansing my tools weekly

Researching my craft but also not researching because I’m a human that lives to procrastinate

Eating lavender macaroons and thinking to myself “witchcraft”

Wanting a garden but working full time and living in an apartment that’s not mine

Staying up too late because I’m hanging out with the moon

Thinking of all the witchy things I did before I knew they were witchy

Reading tarot at work while on lunch

Being in the broom closet but being happy that way

Sleeping with my pendulum under my pillow

Watching Labyrinth and Kiki’s Delivery Service when I need any energy boost

Making my nightstand my secret altar

Collecting my little crystals and keeping them in what I lovingly call my bags of rocks

Being apart of a community

Bringing my own style to that community

I know I’ve left a bunch out but I wanted to make this fun little post! Please add your own things too I would love to know what being a witch means to you!! 🕯🕊🌿

Full Moon 🌿🌕🍃

There’s a full moon this week so that means another post from me! I hope you enjoy this info on things to do with and on the full moon!

Full moons are great, I like to think of them as a joyous celebration. They stand for success, increase in psychic ability, courage, strength, happiness, wisdom, and more!

Things to do:

Divination // your psychic abilities are enhanced and this is a time of enlitenment, ask the tough questions!

Make moon water // lots of moon water!

Psychic work // this is the time to practice or use spell work to strengthen your abilities.

Honor moon related deities!

Throw a party // I’m not kidding this is a time for celebration!

CHARGE EVERYTHING

Take action // all that planning you did on the new moon is waiting and today’s the day to follow through.

Spell work // the best ones to do right now are: confidence, advancement, luck, and love!

What will work:

Lilac, Primrose, Carnation, Rose

Basil, Bay Leaf, Nutmeg, Sage

Purple, White, Light Blue, Pink

Agate, Calcite, Aventurine, Moonstone

Juniper, Willow

I don’t just go to Salem like it’s a tourist attraction.. I go to Salem like it’s a grocery store

I took the train last week and when I bought my ticket the kiosk gave me $14 in $1 coins so I kept my favorites for my magic and I’m going to keep the rest in my purse for emergencies!

Also there’s a full moon this week so I’ve been studying up to take full advantage! 🌕🕯🍃
