there’s honestly so much I could put here.. I used to literally shop lift copies of vogue from a magazine store when I was 14 because my mum wouldn’t spend the money on them. For me, so many of the things in those pages were fucking iconic

I have the copies of vogue for my birthday month from my 18th and 21st in ziploc bags in my wardrobe;; 

I think to date I would have to name Rihanna’s Nefertiti cover as my favourite, that inspired so many cringe blue eye looks from me

despite all of that I don’t actually know much about fashion, I just love the glamour of it all in the glossy pages where there’s three page spreads about the best ways to wear sheer black tights without getting ladders in them and their most iconic moments in fashion history

I followed Lady Gaga and her weird choices with avid interest, I love her Bad Romance era the most, with the weird red and white latex suits, and that scene in the music video where she had those really pointy spine prosthetic thingys idfk

also there’s a video of her singing Speechless live with her dumb bow hair and a big dress and she just shoves her leg up on the piano and knocks back some whiskey and that, my friend, is my aesthetic

last note, whenever I’m going to a formal event I always think that one day I’m going to be able to dress the way Christina Aguilera did when she sings Bound to You in the movie Burlesque
