     jace had always been dakota's first choice to help him through his heats though it hadn't been until the last two that he had enough courage to ask the other male. choosing usually to get himself through it. but nothing ever seemed to be enough. every part of him wanted the blond no matter how hard he tried to fight it.

another whine fell from dakota's lips, almost like he was embarrassed. and yeah, he was. "you." and that was something he had tried stopping from getting out but what was the point? jace already knew that. dakota moved to press a quick kiss to jace's cheek as he squeezed his hand into a fist. "p-please... jace..."

    this assignment would have been better if it had been quicker. and if dakota hadn't been such an idiot on their first night at the third hotel room. if he hadn't admitted the effect jace had on him... and when jace asked if he wanted to talk about it dakota hadn't even responded. just crawled into the bed and passed out hoping it wouldn't be brought up again.

and thankfully it wasn't. until now. a few days later when things had gone south and they had to pretend and oh by the angels he'd rather blow their cover than for his first kiss with jace to be for show in front of others. "i don't see why we have to do this. can't we just pretend to get in a lovers spat or something instead?" dakota grumbled, though tried keeping his features a little more neautral instead of the pouting he wanted to do.

but even as he spoke, dakota leaned on his tippy toes just a bit to press his lips to the others.
