Wild rovers - Taressie
Jessie had taken the chance to get out, away from town, for a moment. Taking the Unicorn Trail northwards, she found herself strolling past the area near the castle (close enough she could smell the faint reek of werewolf on some of the trees around here, enough to make her skin itch), and kept walking fast. She didn’t massively want to relive the ‘Prom’ debacle, or the feeling of being stranded out there unable to take refuge - a jarring reminder of her status and discrimination against it.
She felt better once she was near the edges of the darkwood. The tree line gave a little shade and she could turn her face towards the river and think about all of the things whirring around in her brain. So there was another vampire around indeed, one who knew very little about his condition besides what he’d been able to learn on his own. She was scowling slightly, when she nearly walked straight onto the legs of someone sitting beneath a tree.
“Do you mind?” She stared down at the individual, “If you could not block the path that would be splendid.”

Wild Rovers review: Blake Edwards Goes West
Wild Rovers is the film that helped inspire S.O.B. roughly a decade later. Basically, MGM wanted a movie about generational cowboys and Edwards wanted to make a real movie. MGM seized the movie, recut it and slapped on a happy ending. The ending never made sense and the film is just now making a resurgence on the revival circuit. So, what happened?
The film had 40 minutes cut from it that allowed…
