I did not expect to love this 50's romcom as much as I did, and in all honesty I only watched it for Jack Lemmon. Jack Lemmon always brings a realism to his characters, and in this film (like many others) he brings depth into a comedic character. Although I have no patience for romantic tension of any kind, I was smitten with the affection felt between his character and Judy Holiday's. It's enjoyable, brilliant, and refreshing.
