went on vacation and of course, i returned with more books than i left with. i have no self-control whatsoever and the only thing saving my wallet was the limited space of my luggage

while in sweden, i needed to buy a book by a swedish writer and this one was on my tbr for so long, there was no other option than to take it home with me

wild swims by dorthe nors

in copenhagen, i was overwhelmed and a bit lost when it came to danish writers and the store was so busy, i was too anxious to ask someone for a recommendation. tho when paying for it, the woman working the register praised both this book and dorthe nors so much, i'm positive i won't regret choosing this one

persuasion by jane austen

i'm slowly working towards my own collection of classics and seeing persuasion for only twenty dkk in a shop with used books, there was not much of thinking of whether to buy it or not

kafka on the shore by haruki murakami

had this on my tbr for a while, love japanese literature, and it was on sale. win-win-win

reading and enjoying wild swims very much at the moment, though there is a hate-love i have for short story collections. i love exploring many many stories all at once but sometimes a few pages each just isn't enough
