I wanted to see my favorite flowers, so I risked life and limb in the woods of Tennessee to find just a few of these lovely wild violets.

Total ticks flung from my pants: 10+

Lingering anxiety that every tickle is a tick I missed: level 10000000 very uncomfortable

Possibly not worth it. But hey, it’s nice outside!

the beetle & violet pattern is getting a revamp!! new on the left (WIP) and the old one from ~4 years ago on the left. im going with a totally different vibe for it now!

It's getting colder and I don't really expect to see flowers popping up each day on my little walks. But, this little white flower popped up (on the left). I wasn't sure exactly what it was. The next day I went outside and it was much milder, and my little flower had opened up to reveal itself to be a wild violet. Lovely. I don't expect to see any more of those until spring really. A lovely surprise. 💜
