Welp, finally started working on digital art again, after like a two year hiatus. And I just gotta say, I have learned A LOT in that time. It feels nice to put it into practice.

This is kind of just me blaming about how it really does get easier if you work at it. I gave up, and had no intention of coming back to this. But I did, and I've gotten better. I'm still no pro, but that doesn't matter. I know kid me would think my art is sick, and that's good enough for me!

It's kind of trippy what you learn as you exist.

When i joined this site I was of the mind "if I reblog/comment/or make any noise what so ever, people will kill me in some creative ass ways". Which was a canonical way for me to act as I did this across most social media apps.

But I grew. And I learned, and no one has sent killer clowns after me (and im not scared of clowns anymore). So it's cool as hell when I just sit and remember sometimes life is great, and it really can get better.

I finally sat down to work on an art project for the first time in a while, got a grand idea for a birthday present. Thought I was overestimating my abilities. But I just finished the first part and all my brain has to say is:

"You're so smart and sexy and brilliant and the best artist that has ever lived"

I disagree with some things there, but boy is it nice to be creating again!
