So this is Queen Anne's Lace aka Wild Carrot and it actually is where the cultivated carrots we grow come from. Now like any kind of wild edible/medicinal plant your should ONE HUNDRED PERCENT BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY IT. This can be confused with the hemlock plant which is poisonous and CAN KILL YOU IN AN HOUR IF EATEN. So there you have it...NOW, about Queen Anne's Lace...it can be used for: Various Urinary Tract and Bladder Issues like to much uric acid(that causes gout and yes it helps with gout too), kidney stones, water retention, etc. It can treat dysentery, gas, helps against heart disease and all kinds of shit. Once the flower is bloomed the root is too rough to eat but the flowers can be eaten raw, or cooked. The seeds can be used to make oils, tea or in soups. Pregnant women shouldn't eat it though. Hippocrates actually would have the seeds used for birth control thousands of years ago...wild huh? But this is a weed that shouldn't be simply discarded. Kinda long but when walking the dogs I saw this lone #plant and thought I would share about this #medicinalplant #wildedible #nature https://www.instagram.com/p/CG2gce8p2pV/?igshid=1j5q5x9gv275e
