poison for the ask game?

I prefer poison when it’s more dull or more similar colors. The wide range, in my own taste, looks better on wings than the main body. There are a few exceptions but I really enjoy softer colors with this gene. An exception is my favorite with poison who is Havoc with his plague aesthetic. Matches his eyes.

lionfish for the gene meme?

OKAY Lionfish is the one gene I can’t say many nice things about SMH. I think it’s a really nice gene from an art standpoint, but for usability? EHH...it’s incredibly busy and crowded, obscures features, and has too much contrast.

However, I love the areas around dragons’ wrists with the cool eyespot markings. And I think amber lionfish in particular is kinda neat!

Krahdinok’s life before the Tavern was little more than unending strings of wars and fights, so many she hardly even knew what side or cause she was fighting for anymore - just the highest bidder. Though she was raised as a roving mercenary with little formal training, when she found Vahlokdozii and committed herself to the defense of the Tavern, she studied combat tactics and training almost obsessively. Without a doubt, Krahdinok is the most powerful Paladin in the Tavern. As Vahlokdozii’s partner during the early days of the Tavern, many assume some of the primal energy involved in its creation fused with her to make her as strong as she is. In other words, as Rovaan often jokes, “she cheats”.

Zaan:

Despite the exceptional training abilities of his father Zahkrii, Zaan’s assassination skills are sub-par at best - prone to talking loudly when he is supposed to be sneaking and constantly falling for easy traps. Zaan is determined to become a master assassin like his father, and trains every day to hone his “skills”,  but his heart is simply not in contract killing. Like the other young assassins Zaan had to experience combat to complete his training, but he could only take a life in defense of his companions and could not initiate violence himself. Talking him even briefly about his love for hatchlings and simple ambitions make it clear he is not really cut out for being an assassin, though his persistence is admirable.

Dez:

Dez is a bit of a mystery to the Tavern. Everyone knows he has some kind of luck-manipulation abilities, but only Skitra and a few others are aware of his willingness to do whatever is necessary to entertain himself - even murder. He seems to be involved in the disappearance of a handful of guests, but dragons disappear in limbo all the time so who’s to say it’s really him doing anything to them? He is but a simple, innocent, tarot card reader and information broker, how could you think he was involved with something so vile?

Squid! He absolutely hates the chewy squishy texture. It makes him dry heave just to look at it, especially raw.

His emotions definitely hold the reigns. While he has learned over the years how to be more soft-spoken in front of client and patrons, he does not do well holding himself back.
