When she gets caught stealing a car, she is sentenced to Camp LaGrange, which gives her a chance to find a love of horses and a home at Raintree Farm. She has a strong bond with her horse, Wildfire, and a love of being a jockey and working with horses.

Background: Being the daughter of a wealthy horse breeder has a lot of perks. Money, privilege, and more free time than a girl knows what to do with. Oh, and the promise of a business empire when your dad finally retires. But being the bastard daughter of a wealthy horse breeder means secrets kept from you and a father that never seems to trust you could handle running the business, no matter how much you try to prove yourself, no matter how much you do prove yourself. Maybe it’s a result of her extremely manipulative father, or maybe she was just born that way, but Dani never was any good at making or keeping friends. Competitive and standoffish aren’t exactly attractive traits in a woman of her status, but she’s not sure she cares.

Background: Growing up in the hands of various nannies and boarding school teachers, Gillian was raised to live in the lap of luxury. Of course, she’s smarter than most people give her credit for and she tries to live up to her status as an American Princess. Horses are her favorite pastime but her true passion lies in business and expanding her portfolio- and rising above everyone’s expectations.

Background: In the fast-paced world of horse racing, you have to do whatever you can to get ahead. Tina Sharpe spent years proving herself as the best jockey on the west coast. Whether that meant popping pain pills to keep herself in the running or sleeping with the trainer to keep herself in the running. Tina prides herself on knowing what she wants and not being afraid to do whatever she has to do to get it.
