It’s honestly frustrating that nobody is talking about the fires in BC Canada right now. My town is surrounded by wild fires, we’re drowning in smoke and wildlife is flooding into towns to flee the flames. Yes, everything happening in America right now is devastating, but my entire province has been burning since June. We’re into September now and still in drought. Our official state of emergency has been extended multiple times and there’s no environmental relief in sight for the near future. Firefighters are being pulled from some fires because it’s too dangerous. Over 40,000 people have been evacuated this year in my province alone. People have lost their homes here too.
