To Cis People With Friends Who Bind:

Wearing a binder can be a real pain. Sometimes it can stop people from doing things that they normally would. Some of those things are as follows:

- Staying out with you for an entire day or hanging out with you after a full day of work. This is because a binder should only be worn for 8 hours a day and your friend may not feel comfortable being around people without it.

- Having a sleepover. People shouldn’t sleep in binders.

- Going to the gym. People shouldn’t exercise in binders.

- Going swimming. They might not feel comfortable with swimming in their binder or they may not have a binder that is made for swimming.

(Feel free to add on if you know of any other things that binders prevent people from doing.)

3 month update!

So I am now 3 months on testosterone and it's been an amazing journey already! I'm so grateful for everything and a year ago I never would've thought I'd ever get to this point. As far as changes, I've noticed a few things happening.

Emotionally I feel fantastic. I feel so calm and stable and happy. Everything finally feels right. It's like my brain really needed this.

I've noticed my muscles seem to be harder? Not significantly bigger but just more there if that makes any sense. I've also definitely gained weight but not really in the hip/butt area.

I'm hungrier than I used to be, especially for meat. Like I could live on hamburgers whereas before starting t I was kinda meh about them haha.

I've been growing more body hair. My legs are working on solving the worlds deforestation problem atm. It's pretty cool actually. That was one of the things I wasn't so into but I'm liking it so far.

I'm definitely sweatier and smellier. It doesn't help that the weather is getting hotter either. I immediately sweat through my antiperspirant. At least Old Spicehas my back when it comes to body odor. Until I take off my binder at the end of the day at least.

On that note, I've also been developing some bacne and I suspect binding doesn't help the situation. It doesn't bother me too much. My face isn't that much worse than it was before. I've always had acne. I find that as long as I can control the oiliness it's alright.

My voice is cracking so much now. It's awesome but kinda embarrassing haha. I'll gladly take it though. It means it's changing.

I have lots more energy now but towards the end of the week (meaning Sunday and Monday, since I do my shot on Tuesday) I start feeling a little run down and more emotional. I've noticed as my dose goes up that gets better.

TMI: as far as menstruation goes I haven't had a period since the beginning of April. Since it's now late May I'm hoping maybe it decided to pack up and leave town?? To be continued
