A New Adventure

It had been a while. Three, four, five days? Maybe a week? Or longer. Killua hadn’t really been counting down the days since he escaped home. It was more of a surprise for him than anything that he managed to gain freedom without being caught by any of his family members.
Which is why he never stopped moving, never wanting to remain in one spot for too long. If he ended up getting caught, that was the end. For his Eevee as well.
Killua couldn’t bare to see his only trusted friend get harmed, because of him no less. There was no doubt in his mind that his family would end up separating them. His concern over that kept his legs moving, despite how tired he was becoming.
Eventually he had ended up in the Viridian forest. Like the rumors said, it really was similar to walking in a maze. Killua was trying to reach the next town, to make a short stop at the Pokemon center, but every way he turned, every step he took, it seemed all the same.
Frustration brewed, and he emitted an all too aggravated sigh.
Not to mention, he was starving. Killua’s stomach rumbled continuously. Exhaustion and hunger wasn’t a good combo, finding it hard to continue with the small dizzy spells that occurred. Within a few minutes he wasn’t sure what had happened, given that he ended up completely blacking out.
