I am doing that while I am at work, so... multi-tasking?

Writers feel this, too. I'm really not just attention whoring, I like feeling like I'm doing something worthwhile to others.
HECK YES. And really, I should add a footnote to any posts I make referencing 'artist' because I really do include writers, musicians, illustrators, animators, hell, even cosplayers and costume designers, in to that word.
Writers in particular I feel get shafted so much. If it's fanwork, the original creators are never going to see it for fear of stealing ideas. Fanwork or original work, it only takes a second to look at art, it can take 5 minutes to DAYS to read something. So not only do you have to hope that someone will invest the time to read, but also invest the time to offer feedback. That SUCKS.
(This is why I am really adamant about including bits of writing in beyondthebreach. Writers do not get enough recognition and you all deserve it in spades.)

I KNOW - ME ASKING WAS SUCH A SHOCKER RIGHT?! Can I also say how delighted I am that you and I chose the same scene as our fave? Seriously the post-drift scene is *amazing* XD I am also digging your headcanons, especially the vegetarian one!
Yeah! *high fives* Newt kind of just steals the show in that part until little Mako comes along and steals it back.
I don't know WHY I like thinking he's a vegetarian, it was just something I think I saw in one of irinokat's prompt writings and I latched on to it. Which is weird because I'm one of those "please just sear it lightly and put it still bloody on my plate" people.

*shakes you* Never let 'spoiler' stuff stop you from creating things! You hinder yourself the more you think 'oh that spoils'!
I know I know! And it's not like anyone knows if I'm actually telling the truth or not. I COULD BE LYING. Or I could do what I always do and change things right at the last minute.

I find art appropriate as a tag but I also only post art stuff and only follow people here that post things in general that I want to see
Your Tumblr is pretty darn focused in it's content though! So when it comes to blogs like yours or artists that are pretty consistent with their posts, its far less of an issue.
I mean, for my art Tumblr, tagging the art is a bit less important in my mind than tagging my text posts. The text posts then can be blocked, which cuts out the majority of the non-art content.
"a bit too handwavey science" you're talking PACIFIC RIM
Haha, well, that is true. I just feel like a hack, having a problem and just magicking it away with a cheap science move. It sounds plausible and in-universe though, so in that respect I can jive with it.

Nothing about baby goats?
And she really loved baby goats.
And bunnies.
Okay, I might need a bigger tombstone.
