17 - Are they keeping a secret together? How do they feel about that?
Ichirou at one point had a conversation with Jackson after some shit with Smith's Mother and step-family blew up and left Smith exhausted and emotionally drained. Jackson may have used one of Smith's employment bonuses to make sure that specifically Daniel wasn't going to show back up ever again. So the main secret they're keeping together is that Jackson absolutely used Smith's 'one free hit' signing bonus to get rid of Daniel.
20 - What is their best memory together?
(1 Instance here) Their first date that Smith was aware that they were dating. Smith'd been very anxious about what a date would be like and was a bit convinced he'd fuck it up. Especially because Nicky told him about the ultra-romantic date that he took Erik on while Andrew and Neil insisted that they don't do dates even though Smith knows they have the ceremonial Waffle House date. Then the dates happening and it's just fun. He's hanging out with the two people he likes to hang out with the most in the world and every once in a while now Matthew will kiss his cheek and Jackson will hold his hand. It's simple, perfect, and one of his best memories.
22 - When were they the most vulnerable with each other?
Smith starts dating Jackson and Matthew happily but then the anxiety crept in after him. They have a kid together (Ophellia), are so beautiful/handsome, and have a long history together (childhood friends). Smith is only human and he's an anxious human. It doesn't help that his parent's relationship ended really badly and a part of him worries if he even is capable of being loved in a relationship. He's waiting for the other shoe to drop. He's sure that it'll drop any day now. He graduates, they graduate, they move in together, they build their adult lives, they have the twins, and the whole time Smith is waiting for the moment it turns. The twins coming makes it feel like it's coming. 3 kids is when everything went wrong with his parents. But it doesn't then Matthew is telling him that he's pregnant with another baby and based on what they were getting up to it is more than likely Smith's first biological baby and Matthew has so many more problems during this pregnancy and Smith feels like it's his fault. That Matthew is going to hate this baby because he wasn't so sick with Ophellia and the twins. That Smiths aren't lovable like Gordons are. Smith breaks when he finds Matthew crying in the bathroom. Apologizing for everything and begging Matthew not to hate the baby. Matthew is, of course, absolutely thrown off by this because like the crying is more crazy hormone swing and also puking sucks but he's pulling Smith into his arms because 'oh shit Smith's ugly crying'. He manages to get Jackson to turn around and come home and Matthew gets an understanding about how distraught Smith is at the thought of them hating the baby because he feels like Smiths aren't really meant to be loved. He's wrong because they do and they're very excited to be having this baby. They really really really really really love him and by the end of the whole catharting process Smith more or less understands that his two partners love him and that isn't going to change.

20 - What is their best memory together?
There are so many 'best' memories and as corny as it is their wedding is definitely up in the running for the top. They can't get fully legally married because of uh.........legal reasons but they still have a wedding and swear in front of all their most important people that they're going to be together their entire lives. Their kids are part of the ceremony. It's all so much joy and the whole event is full of love.
21 - What is their worst memory together?
There's quite a few moments that feel like the worst but for Jackson and Matthew one of the worst moments is when they find out about Smith's job working for Ichirou because they're told that Smith has been shot. Like already a stressful thing but add on top of that finding out that Smith was working for the family that resulted in Seth's death? It was a lot. Jackson stayed right next to Smith, mean mugging Ichirou whenever he came to visit and was very very relieved when Smith woke up but you bet your sweet ass the conversation that followed was more painful than the gunshot.

Matthew's mom is a trauma surgeon and has told him so many horror stories about motorcycle accidents but like....hot damn Smith looks really good on that motorcycle.
Jackson has no such internal conflict and just thinks Smith looks real hot.
As for Smith's reaction he straight up is unaware of anything with it other than the fact that him being on a motorcycle makes Matthew kind of nervous so he gets more protective gear which uh...kind of only makes the whole look even hotter for both of them. Smith tugs on his protective gloves and Jackson may walk into a wall.

3. What were their first impressions of each other? How does that compare to their impressions of each other now? Jackson thought Smith was a funny guy when they first met and was also pretty worried about his safety with the Foxes (considering what happened with Seth). Now Jackson knows that he should have been trying to get Smith out of Palmetto but the damage was already done before he could have saved Smith from the life of crime that Smith ends up in due to his proximity. He knows Smith is strong and can persevere any hardship he just wishes that there was a way where he wouldn't have to. Matthew didn't even notice Smith the first time they technically saw him but when he showed up at his couch after the bus fiasco he thought he seemed pretty kicked puppy-esque. Now Matthew knows that Smith's the kind of dog loyal where no matter what happened to him he'd stick by the people that he's decided are his family. He loves that about him, but he wishes that it didn't result in such a dangerous life for one of his loves. Smith thought Jackson seemed handsome and angry upon their first meeting and now knows that Jackson is handsome, kind, funny, sweet, protective, doting, loving, caring, handsome (again because he is), and sometimes a little angry. Smith thought Matty seemed pretty and sweet upon their first meeting. Now he knows that Matthew is handsome (so so pretty), funny, possessive, caring, family-focused, loving, mischievous, good at cooking, pretty handsome, and so sweet that it could render Smith diabetic.

4. How would they describe each other if asked? Physically? In Personality?
Smith about Jackson: Smith thinks that Jackson is one of the most handsome people he has ever met in his entire life and if left to it will wax poetic about how handsome he finds him. He'll walk into walls if he sees Jackson smiling. As for personality Smith finds Jackson to have a very genuine kindness to him. Jackson doesn't really see himself that way most of the time but Smith doesn't let him really deny it much. Jackson's very protective of people that he cares about and Smith does worry a bit about it because he's worried Jackson will catch an honest to god Felony if he sees Daniel. Smith about Matthew: Smith thinks that Matthew is incredibly pretty but always uses the word handsome because he knows that masculine language is important to Matthew (especially early on in his transition). Matthew's arms are probably his favorite thing because they're built as fuck from cheerleading. They're nice to look at and it means that Matthew gives insanely good hugs. As for personality Matthew's confidence and self-assuredness are traits that Smith admires and wishes that he had. Matthew is the one who is most likely to march up to a barista and demand that they make his drink with his oat milk because Smith is starting to accept that he's a bit lactose intolerant. Smith also finds Matthew to be very kind and steady in a way that he needs. Smith often has a crisis in his own ability to hang out with Jackson and Matthew originally as their friend but then especially as their boyfriend since he feels like he's way too bland and non-descript to be seen with them (as if they have some sort of schoolyard rep to maintain). Jackson and Matthew would never and have never thought that way about him though and if asked would call him quite handsome and fun to be around.
16. Is one of them keeping secrets from the other? Why? How would they react if the secret was revealed?
In general they don't really hide much from one another (like birthday party level surprises) just about the only thing that goes any length of time being undiscussed in their relationship is that Smith takes the job with Ichirou. They know he's working for a good company but not the specifics. When it comes out (and it comes out in a bad way) Jackson and Matthew are very upset with him but mostly in a 'We didn't know you were in danger' and also a bit of 'That man is the family of the man who killed my brother' from Jackson specifically. They work through it together and Smith never hides anything even close to that magnitude ever again.
25. If a stranger saw them together, how would they describe their relationship?
In college? Stranger: oh no those two punk looking kids are bullying that soft cardigan boy! Look he's scared to the point he can't even make a facial expression! Later on in life: I think the PDA only grows stronger the longer they're all together. Smith remains difficult to perceive throughout his life but the aftermath of his gestures can be seen clearly when Matthew's trying not to giggle and Jackson's bright red with a dopey smile. So most people would probably describe them as an overly-lovey-dovey throuple.
The amount that I just wanna write a northern duke story with Smith and his partners. I have so many different versions banging around in my head because of the sheer number of fantasy romance manwha I've read.
