Libby’s dad is a politician and is in the midst of campaigning for mayor of Boston. So because of that, she and her family are not famous by any means but semi-well known within the city.

Much to the distain of her parents, Libby has seven piercings — three in her earlobes, two in her left ear’s cartilage and one in her right ear’s, a nose ring on her left nostril, and a belly button piercing (which her parents are not aware of.) She also has a small stick and poke tattoo of a lighting bolt on the middle finger of her left hand which she got from a guy who had she met 15 minutes prior at a Boston College frat party. It’s been a year since and she’s been telling her parents that she drew it on with a sharpie the few times that one of them has noticed.

She has a crazy good memory to the point where it borders on being photographic but only about certain things. Most of the things that stick in her mind seem to be weirdly specific facts and details as opposed to useful information.

Her father died two years ago and left Zoya and her family in a lot of debt. They were already struggling with money so this put extra stress on her mother who had to raise her and her two younger sisters. She dropped out of high school and started working but was already too much of a mess to take the work seriously. She started going to parties more often and smoking constantly. She then started doing drugs on nights out and it caused a lot of drama at home. 

When on Eid day she ruined a family gathering by being drunk and making a scene, her mother kicked her out. After being homeless and couch surfing for three months, and with her friends getting tired of her staying over, she asked her mother to come back and her mother offered an ultimatum. Go to Pakistan or Down of Eve. She chose the latter. 

After her father died she developed a habit of stealing. She just steals shit all the time basically. Pending diagnosis. 

Other than being a total mess, she’s actually pretty smart and was doing pretty good in school without even trying. She’s also street smart and knows how to manipulate people to her advantage. However, she can be a real cunt to people who can’t do anything for her she would find useful.

She often dreams of being rich and successful but doesn’t really know how to get there. Is very jealous and annoyed by people who are just born into wealth.

unlike her twin brother, clarke is very quiet and keeps to herself. she doesn’t have many friends and prefers to keep her nose in a book rather than talk to her classmates. the twins have dealt with years of bullying so she finds it easier to disappear into a story rather than fight them like her brother. 

when kian came out to her, she was obviously so supportive and had her own assumptions before he ever told her he was trans. but because of him living as his true self, it had her start to question her own identity. clarke is demisexual and identifies as queer. (she’d be a 5 on the fruity scale)

she’s read more books than she can count but can somehow remember everything that happens in them. she doesn’t have a favorite genre, always giving new books a chance, but her guilty pleasure is fantasy and being able to escape into a new world

he has a fear of seagull and pigeons. the fear of pigeons comes from his grandad making him go into his pigeon coop to feed them. the stench of the coop was digusting and being a small boy trapped in a tornado of swopping monstrosities was traumatising.
