Summer In Wildstar Update
So after probably a month of trying to play this character, I still can’t settle on whether or not to have my Draken lady roll as a Spellslinger, or a Stalker.
Spellslingers seem more up my usual alley of classes, since they’re one of the two Mage-y classes in the game. They’ve got some decent looking skills, visually, and I’ve always loved the style of dual-pistol combat (See: I always want to play my Thief in GW2). I watched a few videos of endgame solo content done by them and they certainly seem capable of it.
On the other hand, Stalker is what I made my first character as, and I’ve actually really enjoyed playing them so far, which is a change of pace since usually I find Rogue-y/stealth-based classes to be not very enjoyable. I also think it’s a very fitting class for a Draken, along with the fact that since my first character was one, I’m more familiar with what skills to take and whatnot.
Any of you more veteran Wildstar players perusing the tags feel like I should go one way or the other? Heaven knows when and if I’ll make up my mind, so if you feel like you can convince me to stick with one, by all means! I’m mainly someone who enjoys PVE over PVP, and I’ll probably be playing the game mostly solo, with maybe a few cases of going and doing group things with a friend or two. Oh, and uh, I’m still pretty new to the game. Highest level I have is 15 at the moment.
WildStar Characters
So I had a few light-hearted asks about the number of characters I have planned for launch in Wildstar. Seems like a lot yes, lol but I'm the kinda player who needs a lot of variety. Since I think I've waited my whole life for a game like this, I needed to see all the aspects of class, race, crafting and faction. I have so many because I honestly can't do with less LOL the character creator is crazy fun. So many options and colors, sizes, etc. I also can get toon fatigue easily, meaning I get tired of playing just one character for 50 levels. I can't do that. I have to mix it up for the variety. That's why we have a plan for leveling. Get a pair of characters to level 15, rest them in a house until the next pair get to level 15 and by then, we'll have some good Experience point bonus to work on for a few more levels. We switch off like that and should have some high level characters in no time, because I really want to see what these Warplots and Raids are all about. I've never been as interested in end game content as I am with WildStar. Not for all my toons, mind you. Just a select few. I'll be expanding more on their history after launch in the blog so everyone can enjoy their histories and personalities.
