Klamenth Falls’ discovery lit a match. On the holy night, Sunday, at the peak of the Equinox, hunters cloaked in black will take steps from every corner of the forest. Aimed for town.

Many are adorned with protective gear, masks, but all have a sort of weapon in hand. From a crowbar, silver dagger, to burning liquor bottles. Their goal? Light Klamenth Falls up. Starting with town square, businesses, and testing their old limitations by creeping on neighborhoods. Some will choose to merely scare residents and others have violence in mind or even worse; kidnapping.

Residents have a number of options: run and hide, take steps to protect their business or each other, stand up and fight back, or darn a disguise to join the riot.

For this event, we have assigned threads so that everyone can take part and impact plot:

Disclaimer: Kidnapping, injury and murder/death are on the menu with this event, but remember you need mod approval to carry out these main three themes! Not everyone can cut throats, end up kidnapped or lose a limb. We’ve gotta spread things out and keep it even, choose your options wisely and consider the advantage of putting your character in the victim position. On the same note, if you need this event to be your characters ‘empowered’ moment where you play with their supernatural powers etc, again, just hit us up first!  We’d like to play this out with everyone who has questions so they can confidently write exactly what they’d love to write. We'll work for you! <3

In game, this event will only take place the evening of March 19th, 2017, but for our writers you are welcome to start and finish these threads from this moment till the end of March.

Three days of dawn healed the small town of Klamenth Falls of many pains. It felt like tragic history could finally be abandoned as spring swept through the forest. Brought harmony to the hearts of so many. A new start for all.

Those days revealed what most might assume, but one travesty no one ever would have predicted: a corpse.

Officials were called in when the body was uncovered by a small family picnicking at the edge of Four Points Park. The discovery rattled local groups who witnessed and heard second hand. Word spread. Fast. Despite police attempts to keep the news under wraps.

More information has been leaked out the past two days and the word ‘hunter’ rattles the public’s cage. Some out of fear, others disgust, and then there are those with hatred few wish to understand. After analysis of the body, there is no more room for denial. Hunters are in Klamenth Falls. Circling. Taunting. Trapping. Waiting for the right moment to strike just as they have in previous months. Further information was uncovered through a mobile phone found on the body. This human hunter had communication with government officials. More notably The Great Pro-Supernatural Senator Barry Deven. How could this be, when the man spent a third of his lifetime fighting for the rights of the supernatural? He is the reason Klamenth Falls exists.

For now, it is no more than a conspiracy theory, but the leak was clear. The connection is there, but who would believe a town filled with misfit supernaturals? Why would such creatures claim the father of their movement is a leader of hunters? Also, can Klamenth Falls’ own Mayor John Calley be trusted or is he part of this despicable plot?

Days after this news was dropped, officials were seen arresting a resident outside of Third Eye. The demon Alistair, and witnesses have mentioned that devilish smirk spread over his face throughout the process of being cuffed and assisted into the squad car. After a day of questioning, Alistair left the police station, scot-free.

TASK #2 Character Bingo

Mod Blue and I are stoked to announce this idea we have been working toward! Inspired by a series of writing tasks from a group I was in almost a year ago, we introduce to you our writing Bingo! This months task is directed at your characters perspective and personal history, but there are no limits to these themes and how you decide to tackle them. Be it very literal or more of a play on words, whatever inspires you to write!

Sounds fun, how does it work exactly? You can write self-paras/drabbles or work with others off of a thread built just for your chosen theme/space off the bingo board. Lone-starters will not count, members should have at least 6+ notes (back and forth replies with the partner) on these paras--or better yet complete them--to officially check off a bingo square.

How will it count? Make sure you make a note either in the post or in the tags as to which Bingo space each thread counts toward. Once you have completed a line of drabbles/threads (after meeting requirements) submit your list to the main with links to each successful writing task!

What happens when I get Bingo? We have come up with two prizes for you to choose from:

An Interaction Ticket. This ticket can be used to request a thread, drabble, para, etc from another member of your choice in the roleplay. It can be an au situation or something dramatic as long as both muns agree on the outcome (we don’t want anyone to kill someones else’s character without agreement or any forced upon pregnancies/marriages)

Do I have to use the same character to get a Bingo? Nope! You can use one character or all of them if you want to finish a bingo!

The evening of March 19th left Klamenth Falls in shambles. Resident’s were harmed from every side; physically, emotionally, but worst of all a wonderful sense of security and trust was impossible to find. Along with this, very few were motivated to pick up the pieces all over again. Without a voice or foreseeable future to count on, one member of the community stood up; Mayor John Calley.

After facing hunters himself and suffering a critical injury from the two bullets lodged into his arm, Calley still managed to make a second address since the scandal days before. Only this was the true speech. On March 23rd, he stood at the podium and gave a notice of the change that would be made for town. With help from the local police force on hand, greater forces would be ushered into town to defend, patrol, and weed out every hunter within city limits.

The Mayor fearlessly took a moment to speak about the speculation surrounding Senator Barry Deven, giving a clear warning that the town’s allegiance to the once glorified politician was now broken. It was a difficult task in the face of all those who also put so much faith in the Senator, but many took Calley’s message as a change in ownership. A breath of fresh air struck a great number of audience members as the town’s new sense of identity and face of leadership was revealed in Mayor John Calley.

As for Alistair, John continued his bold claims and declared that the demon should not be trusted. Officials were to look deeper into Alistair’s participation or involvement, and finally remove and exile the supernatural from Klamenth Falls indefinitely.

Days later, Mayor Calley traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with the House and Senate in person. This visit was spent describing the hardships Klamenth Falls has faced over the past six months regarding these acts of terror and violence. He reminded the committee and media of Klamenth Falls original vision and their future. As people and equal citizens of the nation. Supporters of the city project were among the ranks along with Senator Deven who neither gave a grin or flinch from what media footage revealed. Finally, Mayor Calley requested the much needed aid and left by days end to tend to directing a rebuilt infrastructure.

March 31, 2017

By the end of March, part of what was requested never arrived, but something was more than nothing. Work began immediately on putting town back together and seeking out the criminals who caused so much damage. However, not all who heard Mayor Calley’s speech or witnessed his actions took full favor in the change. The lack of trust still lingers and old allegiances are brewing. A number of supernatural residents have started closing off from the community, joining in circles, and keeping their own watchful eye on other species or humans who might cross their path. After a long history of discrimination and suffering, will the vision of Klamenth Falls burn as the streets had on March 19th? Who will take advantage of the divided community first; the hunters, anti/pro-supernatural fanatics, or the mob?
