You are right but also Christ himself left His own town for their lack of faith. (matt 13:58) I'm not saying don't preach but let the Spirit guide you. Be compassionate and love for Christ loved those people. It's all for His Glory and as a man of God that you are don't let a man steal you from your peace in an argument he is unwilling to listen. This arguement does not glorify his Son.

This guy isn’t stealing my peace... far from it. Now, how exactly is this not glorifying the Son? I’ll let Mike take it away from here...

@wildthinglove93 Is there some sort of objective measure by which you can discern what kind of argument does and does not glorify his Son and if so, could you demonstrate how this argument doesn't? Because I find it educational, entertaining and beneficial to the church to see someone properly responding to objections from unbelievers. Which imho naturally leads into glorifying his Son.

Why continue to argue with someone who's eyes have not seen or ears have heard?

How did you come to know Christ?

Well, I was always interested in spirituality and stuff and had a natural affinity towards Christianity from a really early age. I mean, I always knew God, I just suppressed that knowledge in my unrighteousness. So I always considered myself a Christian all the way through high school even though I never prayed, read the Bible, went to Church, or bore any fruit whatsoever. In high school I was the captain of my Wrestling team and my entire life was wrapped up in the sport. I didn’t care about anything else. It was my world, my identity, and my idol.

So after high school I got recruited to wrestle in college and when I got to college I just figured I would carry on the same pattern and have my friend group just be my wrestling team. I ended up tearing my meniscus that year and had to sit out for a good portion of the season. In that time, I basically got plugged into a Bible study that kind of became my community and my friend group while I couldn’t wrestle. During that time, I observed a group of people who actually lived out the Gospel and I realized that I wasn’t doing that, even though I claimed to be a Christian. After a few months of that I pretty much came to the conclusion that I need to repent and believe the Gospel and let it change me. And that is pretty much what happened. That was 6.5 years ago now and I haven’t really looked back since.
