isn't this like... the 3rd consecutive year you've had to tell people that the world isn't ending on sept 23?
At least...

wouldn't the death penalty stuff be civil law?
Yeah, the civil and ceremonial are tied together. The reason the civil penalty is death is because of ceremonial categories of clean and unclean. So the undoing of the ceremonial removes the civil punishment.... or, to put it another way, with the ceremonial abolished, the punishment is advanced from civil to Spiritual.

You are right but also Christ himself left His own town for their lack of faith. (matt 13:58) I'm not saying don't preach but let the Spirit guide you. Be compassionate and love for Christ loved those people. It's all for His Glory and as a man of God that you are don't let a man steal you from your peace in an argument he is unwilling to listen. This arguement does not glorify his Son.
This guy isn’t stealing my peace... far from it. Now, how exactly is this not glorifying the Son? I’ll let Mike take it away from here...

@wildthinglove93 Is there some sort of objective measure by which you can discern what kind of argument does and does not glorify his Son and if so, could you demonstrate how this argument doesn't? Because I find it educational, entertaining and beneficial to the church to see someone properly responding to objections from unbelievers. Which imho naturally leads into glorifying his Son.
Why aren't you Clarkian?
Gordon Clarck was a heretic. He believed in the heresy called Nestorianism which posits that there were two persons in Christ. Historic orthodox Christology says that Christ was two natures (divine and human) hypo-statically united in one person. Clark denied this and in so doing embraced heresy. The reason he did this was because it was the only way that he could square christology with his application of logic.
See, Clark attempted to conform every bit of Biblical teaching to formal logical laws. For him, the laws of logic just was the language of God. So God is basically constrained by the laws of logic and cannot move beyond them. In reality though, the laws of logic are an analogical representation of the absolute rationality of God.
So what might seem like a contradiction to us (i.e. that God is both three and one, or that Christ is two natures but one person) is not a contradiction to God. The appearance of contradiction is a result of the limits of human thought… not in God. So his view of logic (and thus his apologetic) lead him straight into Nestorian heresy. That’s why I’m not a Clarkian.
