𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩    𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙧    𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙣'𝙩    𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮    𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣    𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙    𝙩𝙤    𝙮𝙤𝙪    𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮.    the    waves,    the    smell,    everything    is   a    flash    back.    except    annie.    your    rational    mind    reminds    you    that    annie    wasn’t    there    during    the    games,    she    couldn’t    have    been,    so    her    presence    helps.    and    the    way    peeta    looks    at    you    helps    you.    your    clothes    help    too,    different    from    anything    you    wore    on    the    arena.    which    is    partly    the    reason,    why    you    are    outside,    a    beer    in    your    hand,    finnick    next    to    you,    ❝  how...    how    are    you    so    well    with    the    ocean    being    so    close?  ❞    you    couldn’t    live    here    even   if    you    were    payed.

      she’d gasped a little in surprise, so caught up in her book that she had not noticed her husband moving until his head was pillowed on her stomach instead of his own pillow, perfectly comfortable while she was left to adjust to the weight of his head. “well, i’m very glad you’re comfortable, dear,” she hums, though she hasn’t hidden her smile. shifting her book into one hand, she reaches over to stroke her fingers through his  hair while settling herself further into her own pillows. a giggle, then, giving his ear a gentle tug. “but i regret to inform you that you must not expect to sleep this way forever.”

daniel had heard of this 'charles’ his aunt helene had been dating in passing at the dinner table once or twice while his parents would gossip and share their opinions -- no matter how explicit -- but this was the first time daniel had a chance to meet the man himself. with his mother giving the man praise of being a good person, while his father berated him for not coming from a family as wealthy as theirs, the boy struggled with how to go about an introduction when charles squatted down to his level and said hello. 

“ hi, mr. charles. ” he mumbled, holding his hand out for the man to shake. “ i’m daniel. ”

𝙝𝙞𝙨    𝙡𝙪𝙘𝙠    𝙞𝙨    𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧    𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣    𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨.    annie    came    back,   annie    still    loves    him,    annie    doesn’t    want    to    kill    him,    and    that’s    the    difference    between    the    two    of    you.    peeta    is   changed,    peeta    has    been    turned    into   a    weapon.    and    everyone    knows,    everyone    who    has    seen    you    in    the    hospital    that    you    don’t    care    what    happens    to    you     if    it    comes    from    peeta’s    hand    apparently.    in    fact,    you    can’t    seem    to    find    a    care,    if    it    is    peeta.    if    peeta    kills    you?    maybe    it’s    your    fault,    maybe    it’s    whats    supposed    to    happen.    how    this    whole    things    ends.    but    you    try    not    to    show    that    to    finnick    in    your    face.    how    fucking    jealous    you    are.    how    much    you   hate    him    right    now.    instead    you    move    to    try    and    congratulate    him,    smile    plastered    on    your    face,    ❝  congratulations,    fin,  ❞    you    smile    first    at    him,    and    then    at    annie,    ❝  you’re   a    radiant    wife,    annie,    i    wish    you    well.    the    both    of    you.  ❞

Zivah knew there was a chance that Jay would find out after her relation to him was mentioned in the screening. They gave her a home in Auradon City (she requested it be here rather than Agrabah or one of the other Kingdoms). After all, her son was here and while she may not have any form of relationship with him - she does want one, eventually. For now it was good enough that he’s happy, that he created something better then what was given to him on the Isle by his father. Or, forced upon him by his father.... and her, for she left him in his father’s household rather then take him with her. ’’Jay?’’ so they did tell him. ‘’You probably have a lot of questions. Do you.. wanna come in?’’ she’d been about to leave, but none of that was important now.

she thought florian wouldn’t notice the bruises on her arms. not because he didn’t care but because she thought she did a better job at hiding them. she thought they’d fade faster. “you’d be surprised how strong my stepmother’s grip is.” especially when she was angry, she almost seemed to have godlike strength when she gripped snow white’s arm that tight. “they don’t hurt, florian. they’ll go away.” sometimes the little finger shaped bruises hurt when she leaned on her arms on the counter at work but, other than that, they looked worse than they felt by now. it happened right after the very first time they met, the day before she was told to run and not come back until it was safe.

            he’d waited all his life. when his mother bothered to visit him in the nunnery, she was full of venom for the man she claimed had abandoned them both. but, given the overall nature of his mother, along with what he’d heard of lancelot, he had often wondered if his mother wasn’t somewhat biased. and he’d waited for his father to visit him, despite his mother saying he never would, that lancelot knew he existed and wanted nothing to do with either of them. but he wondered. and since his father hadn’t come to see him, galahad would go to camelot. and since arriving, he was no closer to the truth. ‘ did you know? that you had a son? mother said you did, but-- ‘
