How to deal with "healer DPS discourse" in a dungeon!
I felt like maybe I could share how I generally deal with the issue of your party members pressuring you to DPS in a dungeon.
Example: You’re plodding along, healing your tank through his enormous pulls. You’re doing your job, healing. But somehow that’s not good enough and your shitty tank decides you need to be DPSing.
Take a deep breath, be strong. Wait for the tank to pull huge again (or pull at all), flip on cleric stance and go to town. Ignore your tank’s HP. Maybe they’ll live, probably not. Hopefully not. The goal is for them to die, for your party to wipe. When the tank comes back at you for not healing, act stupid and confused: “but I thought my job was to DPS? Which is it?” If they say you need to do both, rinse and repeat.
You might get kicked from the dungeon. That’s okay, you didn’t need to sully yourself with scum like that anyway. You can also opt to save the DPS, just letting the tank die. This is acceptable too.
So what if it’s a DPS that speaks up? Well you can kill the whole party if you want. Let your healer salt flow. But if you are still kind and benevolent enough, just ignore that DPS in particular. If you’re a SCH you may want to put your fairy away. If you’re an AST, split your cards between the other DPS, yourself, or your tank. Nothing pisses a DPS off more than a balance on a tank or a healer. Refuse to heal the bad DPS through AOE damage.
They will probably die. A DPS that stupid will probably step into every orange happy puddle they can find. Leave them dead on the floor.
Again you might get kicked, though most likely if your tank and other DPS aren’t their BFF then they won’t kick you. Even if they do, again they were scum you didn’t need to run with.
Enjoy your freedom from that hell of a run. Take a breather or hop back into a run and hope for better human beings. Repeat as necessary.
This is my stand against bad tanks and DPS trying to tell healers how to do their job.
=====================
Or for those who might be too nervous to do this, it’ll lock you out but leaving is a statement as well. They might moan and gripe about you after you go but there’s no need to stay and continue putting up with their bull. A lot of people say healers have an easy job and don’t have to deal with pressure. It’s not easy. Because tanks and dps and elitist tier healers want us to do three different jobs at once. We are held at the expectations of top tier healers which isn’t fair because not all of us have the experience, skill or ping to do that.

Yea who would blow all that money on some collectors items while berating someone for not giving enough
Maybe I'm being a little bit cruel but I'm tired of people saying that Maddie is overrated and that she doesn't deserve the opportunities she is getting so I have to say this. Think about it, if Maddie only got opportunities because "she's on Dance Moms" shouldn't all of the girls on Dance Moms be in Grammy winning videos, dancing on SNL, at the Superbowl, on Dancing with the Stars, guest starring in Disney shows and getting photoshoots in extremely famous magazines like Elle? I mean all of the girls are/ were on Dance Moms but only Maddie is getting more notable opportunities. If you can see the other girls' talent and their star quality then artists, producers and directors should be able to see it too, no matter what Abby says. I'm not saying that the other girls are not talented. Saying that Maddie only gets opportunities because she is on Dance Moms or because she is Abby's favorite makes absolutely no sense and that's the only point I'm trying to make.
Dear followers,
I love you, talk to me
If you click the button to ignore someone on your dash, do they see that you did that? Not that I really care, I'm just curious.
