I wanted to draw this picture of Carter being comforted by his wife while he's completely undone, in my mind they were at first on the couch like he came home late and needed refuge from the horrors, wide eyes peeking out from her lap, but as I drew this much more peaceful version came forth where the exhaustion remains but there's this simple sanctuary within the marital bed... And also a teddy Luna outgrew, just to underline the wholesomeness of it all and because I didn't want to overlook her despite understandable exclusion. Here's a close up too
I really like how simple her face is in this one but lowkey the green on Tomas nearly ruined the whole thing but I salvaged it(didn't consider until after that Mrs Carter's entire two lines worth of implied clothing would retroactively have something to say about the visuals of 'Ones' because I was picturing something more covering but up to you if you'd prefer this lol)
