Melon needs more content

the day has finally arrived… shorts wars is OFFICIALLY 3 YEARS OLD!! and to celebrate, I drew a fanmade poster for S1!

I overall really like how it came out, think it could be better in some areas, but I do really like it! I discussed in my sketchbook tour video how I didn’t include Danno or Mog in the poster, that being because they don’t do relatively anything of importance in S1. I wanted to just include lore important characters to save space, and I was already including ten so I didn’t want it to be too crowded. Similar reason for why I didn’t include Phaleur or her clone, also because it’s apart of that respect thing I have for her, where I want to respect her decision to not be involved in SW anymore so this is how I decided to do it, hopefully it’s okay ^^

I had to resist the URGE to use the S2 logo instead of the S1 logo because I’m sorry but what the hell were they thinking for this one, the red and purple are not it 😭 I ended up just using it anyway since I wanted it to be lore accurate but there was a definite thought in my mind for a while to use the S2 one instead since it’s just better visually.

I’ve already gone on hundreds of times about how much SW means to me and what it’s done for me so I’ll just say; thank you so much SW. You told an incredible story and became a huge part of my life. You got me through the toughest times of my life and I owe so much to you. Happy 3 Years Shorts Wars 💜

This silly arg on YouTube shorts has changed my life for 3 years now.

I wonder how my life would have been if I never questioned wihy Riggy was a dark shade of blue for some reason. What would have happened if I never decided to go on YouTube in mid July 2023? I don’t think I’d be writing this.

Shorts Wars has made me laugh my head off, go batshit insane, and cry so many times. It may be imperfect, but goddamit…. I’ve met so many of my closest friends in this community. I never imagined I’d have a huge following back in 2023. I’m just some random ass teenager, and yet a bunch of people stuck around. I’m so grateful for that.

This series helped me improve my art, make new friends, and I would have never discovered my favorite character in media without it.

The concept of the series is so fucking cool. There will be never be anything like it again. I’m so glad it was made.

Thank you for everything Rumble Pack & the other creators involved in the series.. I just can’t believe I’ve managed to still be interested in this after 3 whole years. Here’s to 3 more I guess!

Oh, for the drawing… I drew the duo ever!!! They represent the main idea of the series.. so I had to draw them. I also made a flipped version. I love these guys. They make me sick and throw up but I love them. /pos Jonny kinda looks cursed without his shades, but I wanted to show the same expression on both of the twins. Oh well.

ok for serious i have been a shorts wars fan frame one. and this is so hard to believe. i remember fuckin eons ago i was doomscrolling and i stumbled upon a jonny razer short with a qr code in it. i was honestly desperate for something new to play with and shorts wars was perfect. i annoyed all my friends with the lore for the entirety of season 1 and if any of yall are reading im not sorry 💀 i still stumble upon those dms of me going "DUDE RIGGY JUST GOT REPLACED WE'RE FUCKED" and none of my friends caring but aint that just the way. watching it all go down was crazy though. being in redjet's server (that is now the theorist trio server i believe) was pretty nice since i got to talk about sw through there, though i didn't actually talk much in the season 1 days. also they had a channel that just had all the links to new hidden videos so i didnt actually solve most of the puzzles myself lmao. not that the puzzles weren't just "scan this qr code" but yk. shorts wars meant a lot to me back in the day and it still really does (even if i don't post about it as much as i did). i love posting my speculation about stuff we never got answers to and im glad y'all have taken as much of a liking to it as i have. means a lot to me that i can entertain people in that way
