delloso de la rue sneaking past wuvvy’s guard to visit the goblin pagoda late at night and meeting captain hob alone at the edge of the woods in secret to try and explain that wuvvy took it too far and they never meant for any of this to happen and apologising so prettily and asking after his injuries and hob dropping to one knee and saying ‘you do me great honour mistrex but as i have learned to my detriment, i would not have you sully your own to be seen with me so unescorted’ and them saying ‘to regain something as precious as your regard, there can be no honour without the risk of shame’ and when they turn to leave he catches their wrist again in the moonlight and this time they don’t swat him away…
