There are so many layers to why people vote the way they do. There is the cognitive biases that we ALL have, but only some of us recognize dissonance for what it is trying to tell us. Another layer is laziness in actually thinking for oneself instead of just going along with what your family/friends tell you THEY are doing. And yet another layer is the fact that along with being lazy, they want to be entertained.

They beLIEve that just because Felon 47 is an "actor" (a $hitty one at that), and he had what THEY considered to be an "entertaining" TV show, that he really is that role that he played on TV. In "reality", it was a show that allowed him to be his narcissistic, bigoted, misogynistic self which as long as it's just TV, doesn't really hurt a lot of people, but when they make that pathetic egotistical TV character head of the country, and he is really a lousy businessman and a horrible excuse for a human being, they affect a whole lot of people and because they are stupid and lazy, they don't get that they are hurting MANY people. That is NOT entertaining.

I consider myself to be an Independent. I have voted for people from both parties as well as for independents over the years. But the republican party DIED when they elected Orange $hitler. I will never vote for another republican as long as Felon 47 is not being held accountable and put in prison for the rest of his sorry ass life.
