I don’t really make a lot of posts but i feel like I have to for this one so.... We all know how bad the audience was at Exit 82, and while I know that everyone was really just so excited to see their favorite show onstage finally, it doesn’t excuse what happened. For all three nights of the show, the audience was screaming through out the show, singing along, etc. Now that bmc is going to nyc with the original cast, we need to make sure that we’re a good audience!!! So please don’t scream or sing along or be disrespectful at the show because not only will it make the other audience members upset, but it’s also really disheartening to the cast! They’ve all been working so hard on this show, and we should be excited!! But there’s a difference between excitement and showing your love for the show and being disrespectful. Screaming during the show or singing along is VERY disrespectful, but cheering for the cast and crew during curtain calls? Totally great!! Basically what I’m trying to say is that we can show our excitement in other ways!! I’ll definitely be the first one on my feet at the end of the show for bows, and of course I’ll clap for the songs, but just please know when enough is enough!!!!
