You were exhausted. Finals were just around the corner and you were pulling all-nighters almost all night to get in study time. Your boyfriend, Izuku, thought that you were overworking yourself, but you claimed you were just ‘working hard’ and ‘it’s not a big deal, babe, don’t worry.’

Your boyfriend currently sat at his desk, pencil moving quicker than the water running from the kitchen sink on the main floor, while you sat on his bad, eyelids getting heavier and heavier as your eyes read over the same paragraph of your Hero Studies textbook. The textbook was heavy on your lap, like bricks pressing against your thighs. A yawn erupted from you and you felt exhaustion creeping in on you. Nonetheless, you continued to reread the same paragraph, trying to understand what it said.

Midoriya heard your yawn and stopped writing, glancing at the clock, almost surprised to see that his analog clock read 1:16 AM. He sighed and set his pencil down, turning around in his chair and looking over you. He smiled as he took in your appearance. You were wearing his t-shirt and a pair of shorts. His heart sped up in his chest, he loved seeing you in his clothes. He looked up to your face and frowned. Your eyes were close to closed and your fingers were fiddling with the corners of the page.

He stood up and shut off the light. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion and you looked up, looking at your boyfriend, his face illuminated in the moonlight that shone through the balcony doors. “Babe, I’m studying, I can’t read in the dark y’know?” You tried to sass, though your voice was too tired to actually sass him. He chuckled a bit. “It’s late, you need sleep,” He stated, walking over and taking the book from you. You tried to complain, but a yawn cut you off. He smiled and closed the curtains, enveloping the room in darkness. Your eyes quickly adjusted as you leaned back on the bed. You felt the bed dip next to you and you turned to face Izuku. You were silent for a moment as you both adjusted in the bed. You curled into his chest and your boyfriend wrapped his arms around your waist and held you close to him. “Go to sleep, love,” He whispered, leaning down and kissing your forehead gently. All tension left your body as you sighed and cuddled impossibly closer to him. 

“I love you ‘Zuku,” You whispered. His fingers moved to run through your hair, lulling you into a deep sleep. 

“I love you too Y/N.”
