Children of Apollo angst save me children of Apollo angst!!

Need sunlight. Without sunlight their powers are weaker, they are emotionally disregulated, they can pass out or get migraines, their immune system drops rapidly. This happens underground, in storms or cloudy days, and even at night.

Losing patients. Need I say more? They are constantly surrounded by blood and injury and death.

They do not have a higher tolerance to gore naturally, but it develops through trauma. Will has been there the longest, he never flinches at blood or broken bones. New demigods do, and he comforts them.

Healing people causes them to feel some portion of the pain.

Insomnia. A lot of them stay up in the infirmary to look after people, or if they can't sleep, and they don't have medics to tell them it's not good for them.

Healing magic doesn't work for them. They heal naturally faster but they can't heal themselves like they can for other people.

Might try to rewrite some old Solangelo oneshots… I love the plots in some of them but don’t love the execution. And I didn’t have my current writing style because I was 13/14/15 🤣 so I bet I could do them better now. Lots to think about…
