Only Mostly Devastated - Fan Cast✨

Aaaaah I've finished reading the YA novel Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzalez and I loved it so much!! Anyways before the cast comes I do wanna note that I did not manage to find actors with the same skin tone every time and some may look like they're too old to play teenagers but I did my best so spare me😩🙏🏼

Ollie no. 1

Fionn O'Shea! I bet you already guessed that he would be casted as a gay teenager because that's literally his type cast and I cannot imagine him playing anything else. But then again he's casted for every gay teenager role so I wanted to have some variety to it. I also think that his face is a little too slim for Ollie.

Ollie no. 2

Fyodor Houtheusen! That's literally the same hairstyle that Ollie has on the cover! Fyodor is a model but I also think he could try acting for once🥰

Will no. 1

Jan Luis Castellanos! That's definitely the flavor of Latino™ I wanted the actor of Will to have. But he seems a little to old and the shyness of Will is kinda missing. Yes, Castellanos could play a latin Lad who engages in machismo but could he also sit still next to his friends and be all quiet? No

Will no. 2

Diego Tinoco! Also got that Latino™ that I want for Will. Besides that, he could also portray a Lad pretty well while still letting the shyness shine through. But he looks so white in the left photo. He has more of a brown skin tone (that I'd want for Will) on the right photo so he'd probably have to go tan for a little bit more

Matt no. 1

Mason Gooding! It was so difficult to find someone who is 1. black as hell, 2. tall as hell and 3. football-lad-cool as hell. As you can see he doesn't fit the first criteria but I love how his kindness shines through his bad-boy persona that he managed to do in Love, Victor. Also, for the love of god, please click on the right photo so you can witness his beautiful face🥺

Caesar Chukwuma! Look at his long legs! He defo does it all for me but sadly he's not an actor... but hey, your acting career gotta start somewhere, right?

Jeremy Pope! For me, Darnell had to be a short king/dork and I think Jeremy really hits it out of the park!
