"Hey! Can you do me a favor? Tell me if this looks straight?" Will called from the top of the Chapel down to whoever was walking past as he strung up a new banner to announce the Chapel's food and clothing drive for the holidays. It was one of his favorite times of the year, even if it was one of the busiest. But he liked to know he was giving back and especially now, he wanted to be there for his community as much as possible. "What do you think? If it's even a little bit droopy, Sister Helen isn't gonna let me hear the end of it when she comes for mass this Sunday. And she has a mean stare," he told them as he shivered at the thought of it. "So, does it look straight or should I adjust it? Please don't tell me there's a typo on the banner."

When passing by, Will couldn’t help but catch the sour aura of the stranger. On a good day such as this, his powers were fairly restrained from being distracted. It made him feel this kid was in quite the odd mood. “Forgive my intrusion of your day, but you seem to be somewhat out of sorts amongst the crowed. If you’re in no hurry, I could provide some lighthearted entertainment.”

Will's father's had encouraged him to actually spend the night out. But Will tended to have a complicated relationship with Halloween. In some ways, it was one of the few nights a year that Will felt comfortable using his magic, blending in and surrounding to all things Halloween related. That and he had a hidden fondness for horror movies. He had finished at the haunted house a while ago and found himself enjoying a beer while listening to some of the local bands. He had just gotten a new one when he turned to the person next to him. "What are you drinking? Next round is on me."

“Miss Crystal!”

His voice may have brought some vague familiarity on it’s own. Projecting over the crowed without having to yell. Then you’d turned to see such a costume that made his identity apparent from any distance. Will easily spun around a few groups of people he had to pass by. “What a surprise to catch you outside of Johto. So nice to see your journey continue so far away from home.”

“Ah- Excuse me! Excuse me miss.” A masked man in semi-formal clothing approached with a hand in the air. He was in somewhat of a rush, but quickly closed down when actually near the woman. He held a playful smile that assured he wasn’t a threat. “May I ask that you stand two feet away from where you’re currently reside?”

“Seems Xatu has disappeared again. I can’t seem to sense her anywhere. I do hope she hasn’t gotten into denominational trouble.”
