A/N: This is a prequel to "A New College, New Friends" and Cornelia's POV

"Have you heard? a new student have transferred here yesterday." Girl 1 said"What?! I thought we already had Taranee a few weeks ago?! "Girl 2 said" Apparently the headmaster thought it was a good idea to enroll another new student here."Girl 1 said"I swear that headmaster... "Girl 2 said" But what was the new student's name? "She asked" Wilhelmina Vandom."Girl 1 said" A boy?"Girl 2 said"No it's a girl."

Little did they know that their conversation was heard by Cornelia Hale.

'A new girl huh? I'm pretty sure she's like Taranee, afraid of everything.'The blonde haired girl thought'But the name why did she have a boy name?'She thought to herself'Maybe it just a coincidence.'She thought to herself.

The next day in "New School, New Friends"and lunch time

At lunch Cornelia was with her friends Irma, Taranee, Hay Lin and Elyon They were talking a lot of stuff but not Cornelia she's still thinking about the redhead that was in science class. But she shook her head.

'Why am I even interest in this girl? She's just a shy tomboy.'She thought, only for her to see the red haired girl Wilhelmina " Will" Vandom-Durano-Starlighter.

"Will!" The asian girl said waving her hand catching the redhead's attention. Will blinks before leaving, wanting to be on her own.

"Hay Lin, you scared her.. " Cornelia said looking at the direction where Will left "I get her"The blonde haired girl said getting up and left going after Will leaving the others alone

At the school court yard Cornelia was searching for the redhead girl 'Jesus, where is she?!'Cornelia thought frustratedly as she tried to search for Will. and finally she found her.

Cornelia walked towards her with a blank on her face. " Hello. "Cornelia said catching Will's attention "Um, hi? "Will said awkwardly" You must be the new girl right? I'm Cornelia Hale. "The blonde haired girl said" Will. Will Vandom. "The redhead said awkwardly while looking at her, Cornelia noticed it.

"Will, I have to apologize about Hay Lin, I know she scared you but I have to let you know that she have good intentions. " Cornelia said as she sat next to Will who is looking away. Before she could say anything the bell rangs. "Well, I guess we talk later, I introduce you to my friends later? " Cornelia said as she standing up "Yeah,I bye Cornelia. " Will said and before she left"Will wait!" Cornelia said catching Will's attention "Yeah? " Will said in confusion "I was in the same class as you, I could take you there if you wanted. " The blonde haired girl said taking Will's hand and her eyes widened a bit.

'Her hand.. it's so soft and warm- wait what am I thinking?! She's just a new girl jeez!'She thought to herself little did she know that Will heard it 'S-she thinks my hands are soft?! oh god' Will thought embarrassingly to herself.

After Music Class

"Will, you alright? " The blonde asked concern for the redhead"Yeah, I'm fine"Will said. "Will! " A familiar voice shout, Both Will and Cornelia perked up and saw Hay Lin running towards them with Irma, Taranee and Elyon.

"We we're wondering when did you two take so long? " Irma said panting while catching up to Hay Lin who was hugging Will.

"Will! I'm sorry for scaring you this morning! " Hay Lin said"It's fine, but can you stop hugging me for a second? "Will said quietly but Hay Lin heard it " Oh right." and let go of her. "I see that you met Cornelia" The asian girl said prefering to the blonde "This is Irma" Hay Lin said prefering to Irma"Hello! "Irma said " This is Taranee. "Hay Lin said prefering to Taranee, the blue haired girl waved shyly at the redhead "And This Elyon Brown."The asian girl prefering to the straw-blonde haired girl. " Hi."Elyon said to Will with a smile on her face.

Hay Lin hugged Will "We're gonna be best friends for a whole year right Will?! " Hay Lin said excitedly to Will who was flustered at Hay Lin's antics.

Wilhelmina "Will" Vandom was a new kid in Sheffield College in Heatherfield City, Will was only a 18 year old girl with divorced parents, no friends after finding out about her mind reading powers and discover that her old friends don't enjoy her company namely they only felt sorry for her since her parents divorced.

Cornelia Hale was a popular kid but a cold hearted one with boys, ignoring most and having a low opinion of them in general. She is a romantic at heart, however, believing love to be stronger than magic, and she's willing to do anything for the one she loves.

When Will first arrived at Sheffield, Cornelia wasn't interested in her at first mainly since she's a tomboy and a shy girl at heart.

But as time goes on Cornelia slowly started to get interested in the red haired girl she slowly started fallen in love with her..

"A New Start In Heatherfield"

Our story starts in a rather rocky start, it was raining in Heatherfield City, there was traffic everywhere in the city, meanwhile in a dorm, there was a 18 year old girl there finished unpacking her stuff unto her room.

The girl has scarlet red hair with golden-red eyes. Her name is Willhelima Vandom but prefers to be called Will instead.

You see the reason that she moved here was to have a new start.

When she was still young, her father left her and her mother. When she reached her 3rd year of high school, she found out that she was able to read people's minds. The more she read her friends'(Namely Lara, Jenny, and Louise.) minds, the more she realized the fact that they didn't enjoy her company. Will returned home crushed by this rejection.

Her mother suggested that perhaps Fadden Hills held too many painful memories of the past for both of them, and it was time to find a new life in a new city.

At that moment her mother suggested that Heatherfield would probably be the best place for her (Will) to move to.(Yes, I got the information from the Wiki)

'Alright, just almost finished unpacking my stuff.'Will thought in her mind as she picked up a picture of a dark purple haired woman. Her name is Susan Vandom.

Flashback a few days ago

The scene revealed Will crying in her bed after a horrible day at school, she found out that her "friends" Lara, Jenny and Louise really hated her deep down and only put up with her because they felt sorry for her. This year, however, they decided that they no longer wanted to be Will's friends, so they avoided and ignored her.

"Why.. why does my life... have to be so difficult... " Will said to herself as she kept sobbing on her bed "First dad left mom, now my friends left me.. who's next.. my mom?! " Will yelled to herself as kept crying on the bed only to heard a knock on the door. "Sweety, is everything alright? " A soft but kind voice says behind the door, it was her mother, Susan.

"N-nothing mom! " Will says as she wipe off the tears from her eyes. "But you looked upset when you came back today, is everything alright? "Her mother, Will opened the door to her mom, looking absolutely like a mess at her mother"Want to talk about it?" Susan said noticed Will's crying face, she nodded.

She started telling her mom about everything that happened today only about finding out that Lara, Jenny, and Louise hated her, after telling her that, Susan sighed "Maybe, this place holds too many painful memories for you, maybe.. " Susan said and Will looked at her in confusion "Maybe it's time that you should moved away from here.. "Susan finished, Will widened her eyes in shock as she looked at her mother" What?! But what about you mom?!" Will said looking at Susan "I'll be fine on my own sweetie, maybe Heatherfield is the best choice to live there. " She said looking at her daughter who is still unsure about it.

Flashback ended

Back in the present, when Will put her mother's picture on her study desk, there was a knock on her door.

"Coming!" She said opening the door revealed a chinese girl with dark purple hair and brown eyes. Her name is Hay Lin. The dark purple haired girl's appearance kind of scared the red haired girl for a second

"Hello!! " Hay Lin said, Will screamed and slammed the door unto Hay Lin's face. A few seconds later she opened again to see the asian girl wiping her face with her hands. "Sorry.. I'm not used to this.. " Will said look apologeticly looking at Hay Lin who's still wiping her with her hands but still smiling at Will "Don't worry, I'm fine. By the way the name's Hay Lin, what's yours?" Hay Lin says looking at Will with a smile on her face.

"Will. Will Vandom."the red haired girl said a bit shyly. " Nice to meet you Will, here have a cookie." The asian girl said giving Will a fortune cookie "What's this?" The redhead said "It's a fortune cookie, we gave that to every new students this year." Hay Lin said with a smile"Since you are new here, I thought it would be a good idea to give it to you, well. See you tomorrow Will. Bye."Hay Lin said as she walks away with a smile on her face.
