Pirates of the Caribbean AUs: modern willabeth + accidental marriage 

In the city of Port Royal, Jamaica, Elizabeth Swann worked at the most popular resort hotel. As tourist season approached, more and more visitors came to stay in the beautiful hotel that backed right on the beach. This, in turn, made Elizabeth dread working each shift more and more. The guests at the hotel had no respect for Elizabeth or her coworkers.

Elizabeth’s day started no different than any other when she started working the front desk. Around noon, a very attractive couple checked in under the name “Turner.” The woman draped herself around the man, making it appear as if half of her body weight rested on him. She acted very territorial about him, which Elizabeth (kind of) understood; he was one of the most attractive men Elizabeth had ever laid her eyes on. The lady seemed to notice Elizabeth looking and turned into one of the rudest customers she has ever encountered.

“Can you like, hurry the fuck up? I want to get on the beach.” Her pompous British voice, so kindly requested. The wenches significant other didn’t even say anything about her rude actions, making Elizabeth hate them both. Over the next few days, Elizabeth did everything in her power to not have to deal with either of them; which was hard because it felt like everywhere she went in the resort so did the Turners.

At the end of the week, Elizabeth and her friends did what they always do and crashed the wedding receptions of random tourists. It was their paradise: free food, boozes, and no entry cost to go dancing. What more could a girl ask for? As luck would have it the wedding she crashed this night was the one the Turners were attending. Stunned to see her there the man, Will, approached Elizabeth. As they were talking, he apologized for the actions of Sarah, the woman with him that week. Informing Elizabeth that Sarah is the sister of the bride and out of the groomsmen, Will picked the short straw meaning he had to be her date for all of the wedding activities. That’s about all Elizabeth remembers from that night when she wakes up in the morning, being “spooned” by a passed out Will on an outdoor hammock. Her right arm held an empty bottle of rum in it, and her left hand had what appeared to be a wedding band on her ring finger. Much to her chagrin, her new cuddle buddy also had a matching ring on his finger.
