wait, when did will and deanna start dating again? I know they'll break up again before they get married. bc deanna even dates worf for a bit on ds9. I swear tng has the messiest relationships in the franchise.

apart from that, this episode reminded me of so many from voyager for some reason (I know tng was first, but voyager is my og reference point) and it didn't particularly stand out to me. I just had to get this out there.

picard and beverly were already quite close and comfortable with each other in this episode (smiles, touches, first names), but during the mind meld they had especially tender moments. and I liked that she was the only one he involved. I mean I know it was also bc she is the cmo, but he could've gotten riker, worf or a random security officer in to stop him from attacking things and people. but he knew she would soothe him enough :')

other than that I thought the acting was a bit weird in this episode. and the plot was a bit all over the place as well, but I'll let that slide bc we haven't had a good picard/beverly episode in a while.
