25. Our muses comforting each other during a thunderstorm
She’s been wandering around the middle of nowhere, when the rain started pouring down on her. At first it was amazing letting the water just kind of drench her. She’d kept walking for about half an hour, drenched to bone as the expression went. Walking up to a strangers house, as lightning and thunder began to make the poor woman jump.
Knocking on the door, and hearing dogs barking inside she timidly stood on the front porch praying someone was at home. After waiting a moment, she raised her hand and went to knock on the door one more time.
